Sermo Reservoir and Glagah Beach
(English mode: on, just want to try to use English properly, too much singlish at work which really “belepotan” =P)
Just want to store some memory hang out with some of my friends before we graduated. The travelling club – that’s what we called for ourselves, a bunch of students who love travelling – decided to go to West Progo to visit our friend’s house and travelling to Sermo Reservoir. First, I thought that Sermo Reservoir look like Gadjah Mungkur Reservoir in Central Java. I went there before with my family. The trip to go there is really full of trees.
But the first sight when we enter the area. Whoa!!! It’s beautiful!! It’s just look like a lake surrounded by hills.
Even, there are some floating restaurants in the central island.
Unfortunately, at that day there was no trip schedule to go there. It’s just empty deck with ship attached at it.
So beautiful, even the abandoned ship made the surrounding feel so natural.
Of course, we didn’t forget to take photo of ourselves. But who did it if I want to appear in camera too?? So I just put my camera in the edge of the deck!!! Hopefully it didn’t plunge to the water, it was really scary. And set the timer, and then 1, 2, and voila…this is travelling club!!
But suddenly the rain fell down so we decided to take rest in the gazebo and to get lunch which brought by my friend whose house we visited before.
After the rain, we walked to the surrounding area and then we decided to go back before it’s raining again. But my friends have another crazy idea, we went to Glagah Beach!!! Yippee!!! From mountain down to beach!!! So that’s Sermo Reservoir, hope we can come to that place again sometimes.
On the way to the beach, we found very nice woods. Surrounded by greenery, the light just passed, and the shadow played.
So we decided to…take photo again!!! Hahaha.
So, after awhile, here we come!!! Glagah Beach!!!
Glagah is like common beach on southern part Indonesia with high tides ^_^.
So we just played with the water. Hehehe.
Glagah beach is really far from Jogjakarta City so it’s not too crowded there. We just met a few people, but we like the situation because we can enjoy ourselves there.
We noticed some fisherman fished from the beach using very long string.
So when the time’s over. Here we are!!! Young architect generation ready to face the world!!!
I hope we can hang out together again sometimes… Some of them right now take their final project in university, but for me I still need some travelling…

singapur gimana? masih kaya dulu? (halah..padahal belum pernah menjejakkan jari di singapur)
